Monsoon Consulting also has experience of joint development projects where we have partnered our client, modularised the development workstreams and then integrated the modules to create the application.
Project or Fixed Bid Pricing
This model is most suitable when the project requirements are clear along with its scope and specifications. This is comparably a low risk option but it normally requires us to engage in a detailed analysis and design phase.
We offer project based pricing in the domains of our expertise which allows our clients to get the best of the dedicated resources. Our well rehearsed project and team management processes ensures projects are delivered on time, on budget and to the specifications required.
Effort pricing or Time & Materials
In the Effort based pricing model, the cost to the client is defined by the total project execution time and the resources involved in delivering the project.
This engagement model is particularly useful in contexts where the projects are quite complex, multiple 3rd party teams are involved and are prone to specification and design changes during development.
This engagement model suits the agile development methodology and offers greater flexibility in terms of developing the project specification.
Milestone based Billing
This option works for Clients who are concerned about progress in remote projects and enables them to timetrack results. Milestone-based payment schedules reinforce progress monitoring. It helps justify payment based on achievable milestone and visible progress reduces risks.
Dedicated Offshore Development Facility or Retainer
Monsoon Consulting can provide a dedicated facility as an extension our clients own engineering or software development center. This offering normally follows an extensive period of engagement and has seen members of the Monsoon Consulting team work directly onsite with the client to build process, technology and management knowledge and then transfer that knowledge offshore to build a virtual Offshore Development Facility (ODF) for our clients. The advantages are that the client is offered;
