Onshore
This methodology occurs when the client requires a dedicated team based at their offices for the duration of the project. Onshoring is suitable for complex projects, where the client is seeking high levels of control and where high interdependencies exist between the client and Monsoon Consulting teams. This model is a suitable precursor to outsourcing for clients who have not outsourced development before. Monsoon Consulting provides all stages of the development process as detailed below at the client site working directly with the client project manager and team
Outsourcing
This methodology like the fixed project or bid engagement model is suitable for well-defined projects or modules within projects which can be developed independently. However, before committing we ask that initial requirements gathering, analysis and sometimes design takes place onshore or at the client site with the assistance of our team in the development centre before the development workstreams are completed offshore.
Hybrid
The hybrid model of onshore/onsite and outsourcing offers the client a combination of resources and skillsets based at different locations depending on the need and stage of the project. These development phases are normally outlined in the project plan but with the right engagement model can be flexed to suit the client and developing needs of the project. Ordinarily a Project or Technical Manager will be based at the client site with the client project manager with all software development completed offshore.
