Monsoon Consulting and Virginia Foods are delighted to announce the re-launch of Virginia Foods new website at www.virginiafoods.net, a Monsoon Consulting first for delivering a Drupal and Magento powered website and e-commerce engine.
Virginia Foods is a family run business based in Oysterhaven, Co. Cork, supplying naturally therapeutic wholefoods direct from the farm to your table for everyday use. The company produces health food products such as hemp seed oil and cold-milled flaxseed ready to add to everyday food such as dips, soups, salads and baking.
The Virginia Harvest range is listed in independent Health Food Stores and Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Aldi throughout the UK and Ireland. 
The site was given a fresh new design in line with the company’s new product packaging. It also introduces Helen O’Dowd, the company founder and expert nutritionist who will be developing the Helens Healing Foods concept to provide new content, recipes, nutrition advice and product ideas to the site in the coming months. The website build is an integration of two platforms, combining two of the world’s best-in-class open source platform; Drupal for content management and Magento for e-commerce. We had done a lot of research to see if this type of integration had been done before and we could find nothing delivering these technologies in an integrated way so as far as we know it’s a worlds first.
Through the new website, the company is looking develop the Helens Healing Kitchen concept and to open up a new consumer channel as well as providing existing and new retailers with an e-commerce platform for bulk orders.
