Monsoon Consulting recently worked with Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council to build the next generation of dlr websites, using Drupal 7 as the content management system. Launched in June 2016, the new responsive websites set the standard for Enterprise Content Management and government digital presence. 

Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council is the the local authority responsible for delivering high quality services and infrastructure (such as housing, libraries, local tourism and planning) for its population of over 200,000 people.

The existing dlrcoco website presented several problems as it was built around County Council Departments rather than citizens, and used multiple platforms with inefficient content delivery. Our agile project team took a strategic approach to produce user-centred and easily managed, public service websites. Our partnership with Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown led to the design and development of 3 integrated websites – dlr County Council, dlr Libraries and dlr Events. The responsive new websites better showcase the wide range of services, activities and resources offered to dlr residents, visitors and businesses.
