One of the most impactful and seismic shifts in our culture as a result of Covid-19 has been how organisations work and manage a new mobile workforce. Google Meets, Zoom and MS Teams are the new household names for our daily working lives, with the daily commute changing to navigating the spare room or kitchen table. As a technology-centric company, this has been embraced 100% by all our team here at Monsoon Consulting creating new positive experiences and well being.

Indeed many of our team were “remote first” well before the pandemic. Rather than divide and separate us more, the shift to digital connections and remote working has in many ways, ironically, brought us closer together. Coupled with our on-going expansion, with new recruits (across all our project management, design and development teams) joining us in Dublin, Ireland, this was the final shift in focus for the next phase in our journey.

Back in 2015, Monsoon Consulting was forging ahead with a rapid growth phase, coupled with delivering new and multiple B2B eCommerce projects across Magento and Drupal, we found our new working home “Terminus Mills” in the leafy suburbs of Clonskeagh Road in the South-Side of Dublin. As we move forward into 2021, Monsoon is now excited to announce a new Dublin Office and address in the commercial heartland and vibrant tech-centred area in Ballsbridge, Dublin 4.

This new modern, technologically superior space is the perfect new home for our Dublin team as we move into a new “hybrid” model of working. Earlier on in the Covid pandemic, we realised the benefits to our teams from working at home, with the likes of reduced commuting time maximising that ever-important “life & work” balance. However, we recognise (and indeed miss) our social interactions in person, and with new hybrid trends being introduced by many leading companies such as Google, Twitter, Facebook and Unilever, Monsoon is offering a flexible approach to work, with both office and remote settings to meet our team members’ preferences and lifestyles.

To build upon this, we are looking forward to more client and prospect “in-person” meetings at our new office in Dublin. Our new modern, creative spaces provide comfortable and safe meeting facilities and refreshments for all our visitors. In the weeks ahead we will be announcing some new office openings in Belfast and Scotland to complement our existing presence in both London and Kyiv, Ukraine. Moreover, we are now expanding our team with more recruits joining Monsoon from across all of Europe and Brazil.

As we bid a fond farewell to our old office on Clonskeagh Road, we are very much looking forward to the next chapter here at Monsoon, both with our new offices here in Dublin and across the U.K.
