BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE (Dublin / Belfast)

About the role
We have a great opportunity for a Business Development Executive to join our growing team.
Reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with the Commercial Director, you will work as a dedicated and vital component to our New business Team, driving inside sales, lead generation and owning the Monsoon Consulting Pipeline.
You should be hungry for new business, tenacious with identifying and qualifying new leads in an organised and efficient manner. You will have strong communication skills and a highly motivated self-starter who is able to work to targets and demonstrate proven sales expertise in new business development. We anticipate that the role will cover the Dublin-Belfast economic corridor as well as other parts of Ireland.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, targeting and exploiting new business development opportunities with both existing and new clients and will work closely with the CEO and the Commercial Director to ensure that all leads and opportunities are fully optimized. This is a results-focused role that will present potentially major developmental opportunities for the right candidate.
Essential requirements for the role
- Have a degree or equivalent qualification in an IT or Business-related discipline;
- Have a minimum of 2 years professional experience in a similar new business development role, ideally selling IT / digital solutions to corporate clients in Ireland / Northern Ireland;
- Be both a team player and someone who can work on his / her own initiative;
- Be comfortable working to clearly defined sales targets;
- Have daily access to a car and a clean driving license.
