We are recruiting a Magento Frontend Developer to join our growing E-Commerce team in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for an e-commerce web developer to work with a team of exceptional strategic, creative and technical digital specialists.

The role is based in our office in Dublin.


  • Reporting to the Product Owner and eCommerce Product Development Lead, you will use agile / scrum methodologies to complete technical tasks as part of the overall delivery of product features

  • As a frontend developer, your primary responsibilities will be the development of custom designed frontends on Magento

  • Implement frontends based on agreed standards to ensure maintainability and reusability

  • Collaborate with UI/UX team and backend development team to produce best in class frontend experience for clients

  • Maintaining a high awareness of industry issues and trends, particularly in regard to accessibility, usability and emerging technologies


  • 2+ years experience with Magento 1.x and 2.x (CE and EE), good understand of the functional and technical aspect of the application

  • Advanced Knowledge of HTML5, CSS and Javascript are required, a good knowledge of PHP is a plus

  • Experience working in large project team with multiple developers

  • Experience with CSS frameworks (e.g. Bootstrap) and CSS preprocessors (SASS and LESS)

  • Frontend & Backend debugging skills (i.e. Firebug/Chrome Inspector & Xdebug)

  • Knowledge of general web development tools/services like Git, MySQL and Nginx

  • Knowledge of Node.js and one JS framework is required (e.g. AngularJS, ReactJS, VueJS or KnockoutJS)

  • Experience with frontend automation tools like Gulp and Grunt is required

  • Experience with Docker is a plus
