We have a great opportunity for an experienced Product Owner to join us in Dublin, Ireland. Reporting directly to the Operations Director, you will work closely with our cross-functional teams and clients project teams to ensure digital solutions are delivered on time and within budget. You should have a proven track record in project delivery with an appreciation for technical implementations and strong team management skills. The main purpose of this role is to plan & deliver projects of a relatively complex nature with agreed time, cost & quality standards based on the specific project methodology framework. You should be organised and efficient with strong communication skills and a high motivation to provide an excellent experience for our client’s by ensuring their needs are catered for on an ongoing basis



  • Functional requirements gathering

  • Working with other team members to create estimates

  • Writing user stories and acceptance criteria

  • Backlog refinement

  • Relationship building with our clients as the main point of contact

  • Become a platform expert in both Magento & Drupal

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of our clients website(s) and systems

  • Lead a cross functional team of developers, designers, and QA engineers

  • Organise releases of new features in conjunction with the support teams

  • Deliver project scope on time and within budget

  • Reporting on progress of projects on a regular basis

  • Ticket management and prioritisation for the development teams

  • Participate and have a strong voice in the various Agile events

  • Lead discovery events for our large scale projects

  • Adhere to all our internal processes and suggest improvements

  • Act as a secondary point of contact for support

  • Act as a tester during the installation of Magento patches/upgrades



  • Minimum degree qualified in Business or Technology, ideally with post-graduate qualification and relevant project management certifications

  • Proven Project Management experience - 3+ years experience in the planning and delivery of large scale, complex software projects with a 6-12 month duration

  • Experience in Project Delivery Methodologies (such as Agile, Waterfall)

  • Proven track record in the on-time, on-budget delivery of projects within the software development, systems integration and/or IT consulting / services industries.

  • Good client management experience with strong skills in high level and detailed planning, organising, budgeting, problem solving and scheduling experience

  • Strong people and team management skills, with experience leading a team of up to 8 people

  • Excellent communications, leadership, negotiating and influencing skills with the ability to interact up to senior management and executive level.

  • Demonstrate business analysis, requirements gathering and documentation skills and ability to work with technical team to translate requirements into technical tasks

  • Experience in Content and E-commerce based digital development projects an advantage (e.g. Magento, Drupal)

  • Good governance, risk & issue management with track record in project management platforms an advantage (such as JIRA, Basecamp)

  • Willingness to travel to the UK and possibly further afield if required

  • Capable of working in a fast paced, deadline driven multi-location and multi-cultural
